Pokemon Enlargements

Room 10 has been busy learning about enlarging Pokemon images. We found it a challenge to get the squares exactly the same, but we persevered with great results!

Minecraft Selfies

For maths we have been learning about area and perimeter. Once we created our selfies, we then calculated the area and perimeter of our images. We used a variety of  strategies, including addition and multiplication strategies. We also needed to find the fraction of each colour we used in our mini mes.

Tessellations

In our geometry unit we discovered tessellations are a repeating pattern with no gaps. We are very proud to show you our learning as we really worked on these.
