Wobblebot Challenge
Room 11 have been problem solving up a storm. We were given the challenge of designing a wobblebot to travel the surface of the moon. We were given 3 flat batteries, 3 pager motors, a foam cup and other bits and pieces to create a winning Moonbot. First, we needed to work out how to power our bots, as we didn't actually know what we had been given at first. With a bit of tinkering, banging, sticking and trailing our moonbots were ready to go.

We want to know:
- How many Room 11s would it take to weigh the same as the All Blacks?
- How much more do the All Blacks weigh in comparison to Room 11?
- How many boots are on the field?
- How many Room 11s would we need to be the same height as the All Blacks?
- How many stripes are there on their socks altogether?
- How many test matches has Richie played compared to Dan?
- How many All Blacks would it take to measure the same as a goal post?
- How many meters of cable are used by the TV cameras?
- How many Room 11s would it take to cover the whole pitch?
- How old are the All Blacks put together?
- What is the difference of age compared to the All Blacks and Kauri Block?
- What is the average age of an All Black?
Please share any questions you may have with us, we would love to hear your ideas.
Tutorials will be placed on the maths page to help us.

We Think, We Try, We Succeed!
Room 11, 2015 have got off to a flying start in our team building challenge. We worked together in teams to build the highest, free-standing structure to hold a giant marshmallow at the top. All teams displayed creativity and ingenuity when thinking of a plan for their structure. They also worked co-operatively to build their structure with great success. When things didn't work out so well, the teams didn't give up and came up with another plan. We are proud to show you our successes.
